The numerology values displayed on the Internet Name Database are based on the Pythagorean numerology system. This system translates letters to numbers, and using a simple calculation gives a numeric value that represents your name. For example, the name Eric would be calculated as follows; E=5, r=9, i=9, c=3 for a total of 5+9+9+3=26. As 26 is not a valid score (see above), we need to add the two remaining numbers together, so 26 turns into 2+6=8. So the Pythagorean score for the name Eric, is 8.
